So I got my tablet earlier today that I had ordered and... it's a weird, weird, weird device. I like some of the lines atleast for a first time try.

Not bad~! A trick to making the lines smoother is doing single, quick strokes. Takes practice but it looks real good~ It's how I do my line art.

Too used to slow, precise things, so that's something I gotta train away!

What I do, is during sketching, I do short strokes. Looks messy, but a lil better than just trying to draw a straight line. For inks I use long, quick strokes. Or if it's highly complex I "cheat" and use the lineart layer mode and use the curve line tool.

_{You'll get used to it. It took me forever, and I still don't have the hang of it 100%, but it differs between people. You can play with all kinds of settings to get what you want. If you use Photoshop, I can assist with anything stuff on there.}

I've given PaintTool SAI a try, and it's not too bad. Just weird to get used to!

I'll probably be doing a bit of traditional work in the meantime, if nothing else just to get used to holding a pen and move it about a surface.
