The Sikkboyz are a full four-member team (from an originally nine-member gang) that, through means both fair and foul, earned themselves a ticket into the PokeCombat Academy to finish their education as well as expose them to high-end battling talent. The faculty of Everstone Preparatory School, the 'halfway house' of capable but wayward pokemorphs, hadn't banked on the four refusing to integrate, even going so far as to wearing the Everstone shield as a badge of honor. Behind the others as support and an alternate, the team's fifth member... is a cipher.
Some people wonder what Fernando was doing in Everstone Prep. He seemed the put-together type -- smart, funny, a snazzy dresser and... popular, to an extent. He himself doesn't say what got him there; in fact, Face doesn't say very much about himself at all. He prides himself on secrecy about his past, his fighting style (he's somehow managed to avoid actively fighting in front of more than five people, and even then limited himself!) and his reasons for joining the Sikkboyz. All he does is nod, smile, and make some silly comment about 'chasing the rough boys'.
In fact, Fernando sees the Sikkboyz as the perfect opportunity to test out his skills at managing and leading 'soldiers' into 'battle' -- to him, battle is one great chess game, where the stakes are high and the play much more chaotic and enjoyable than that of a mere boardgame. Still, he can and will get his hands dirty when it's needed -- while the Boyz have seen what he can do, they're always tight-lipped about his capabilities. Face himself says little, shows less, and holds in much more than people realize. After all, the best-laid plans are the ones an opponent never knew you could pull off to begin with.
Face is, as fitting for a Roserade, absolutely beautiful, bordering on feminine. It doesn't help that he often wears lipstick, dresses in a truly Fabulous! (intentionally capitalized) nature and is blatantly, honestly and sometimes disturbingly 'out'. Wrex jokes that he's actually Poison and Fire type, as badly as he flames. Face, in the faces of jokes, slurs and dismissals of his occasionally honest amour, never is without his gentle smile, ever-observant eyes and PDA, taking notes. As far as what sort of notes... no one knows.
As noted, his battle talents are a mystery, but it's believed that he has to be good to be a Sikkboy. Only time will tell.
