You use your power to protect the ones you love... but where is the line when protection becomes bullying? When protecting becomes more than just being a shield for the ones you love, but also their sword?

Its always a good thing to understand the standpoint of another. Ask questions with the intention of coming to a resolution. Neither sword nor shield should be needed. Just two thinking minds =P

The problem emerges when you have hundreds of thousands of minds to consider. When 45 people want this and 55 people want that... how can you deny the 45? and how can you make it fair. That's what it boils down to... Can you really afford a 45-55 split in opinion?

Yes. This is where compassion comes into play. One group respects the other groups decisions and vice versa. This way, no one group has lower over another. Instead, we have two separate but harmonious groups.

:O Wow, that's quite an eye opener for anybody who have the physical strength and power to protect the weak and defenseless. There has to be boundaries though or else YOU could end up being that same individual you were trying to stop in the first place :l

That's when you make peace with and understand yourself. When you know yourself, you know when to interact or simply let things be the way they are ^^ Compassion will always play a huge role in these kinds of decision making =)

Ain't that the truth? We are also taught to show compassion AND mercy to others through God's Word the Bible as well:D
