A personal pic I did during the gap in a livestream session today. Kind of nice to do one of my own ideas for once!

It was supposed to be a relaxing, and hopefully romantic, night at the Civil Investor's Ball. Toughset couldn't go to represent the PRR on account of malfunctioning training equipment, so his sister, Toughsetta, eagerly took his place. These meetings never did turn up anything profitable for the PRR anyway.
But everything suddenly took a turn for the worse when Toughsetta saw a chance to catch a dashing rogue of a coyote alone. But instead of getting a number, she got a front row seat at the murder of Civil court director, and host of the ball itself, Dr. Herald Montgomery! She saw and heard everything. The murderers gathered, choosing one to pose as a detective and hold everyone under house arrest after announcing the murder, in a ploy to take the blame off of them, and keep everyone quiet and controlled. They had everything in place for their liking. All they had to do was hide the murder weapon...
In an impulsive act of defiance, as the three went to announce the murder, Toughsetta stole away the knife used to murder weapon. Without it, the three getting away with murder would be very unlikely! But as her actions settled in, and the uneasiness of the murders discovering this missing element to their plan, Toughsetta found herself in far more danger than she thought! If she gave the knife to the police, they might think she killed Dr. Montgomery! But if she didn't do something with the knife, the murders might get away with this! She couldn't flee the mansion either, lest the other patrons see her as the possible murderer as well! And if the three caught her with the knife, well, she could be joining Dr. Montgomery very soon! Can Toughsetta pin the murder on the individuals responsible? Find out in the not-so-bestselling mystery novel "No Place to Run"

Ah, the solution would be to make the announcement herself to the people. Even if she has the knife she can easily explain that she stole it off of their person. "Ladies and Gentlemen! I know who killed Dr. Montgomery. And this is the knife that they used! If you run tests on the blade for chips, and dust the handle for prints, you'll find what I'm saying is true. And I've been wearing gloves all nigh!"
Poor Setta, always finds herself in trouble.

Love this one. Great job with the setting and the pose and everything.
Toughsetta is in a real pinch here. As long as she possesses that knife, it will be easy for anyone to think she did it. Especially if she is seen sneaking around and acting suspicious. The murderers have the perfect scape goat already, if they can turn the rest of the guests against her, it will be easy enough to frame Toughsetta.
I'm thinking she should hide the weapon somewhere in the mansion, and then use her detective abilities (and maybe a helpful guest or two) to "find" the murder weapon and some other piece of evidence that links it to the murderers. They won't be able to argue that their weapon was stolen or hidden somewhere else. But man, as long as she has that... she's in trouble. And leaving blood trails everywhere. Who's gonna clean that up?
