It's an automaton from the 50s, it's a part of a collection of automatons which represent the "Snow Queen" (Sneedronningen) of Andersen and was exposed in the gallery of a comercial center for the fest of christmas.
Now, the full collection is exposed in the museum of the automatons of Souillac, in France, it's one of the biggest museum of this type in France with an other which is in Normandy.

Actually, he still move his arms for give the idea he's playing of his violin but there were also a couple of magpies which were balancing, a polar bear which were playing of the harp and a couple of sea lions which were dancing. Unfortunately, there were a glass between the public and the automatons so, on the few pictures I have taken there, there is just this one which is good, there is the reflects of the glass on the other photos.
