This is in scraps because it's still only part-finished.
Okay, last time I posted this, "Plain Jane" was an unpopular name for the character. I've been considering other names. "Just Plain Jenny" was my favourite. (Jennifer's name would have to be changed as well, but for both it's a mere matter of Find-And-Replace so no bug deal.) I'd also considered "Just Plain Mel," after a friend of mine, (who apparently doesn't have a page here.)
Any other suggestions?

Um... actually, I meant suggestions for a better name for Plain Jane.
But that's a fair comment anyway. I'm not sure I follow you, though. Scene changes were marked by pound signs; in an actual printed magazine there'd be extra space between the lines. (I sure wish FA wouldn't eliminate tabs, or allow indentation some other way. Or at least allow center justification for those scene markers!) Anyway, how were they rough? Could you give an example?
