Big Telecom in the USA want the Internet to work like cable TV, with your choice of the websites that pay their ISP divisions for full-speed access. Websites that can't afford to pay... sites like FurAffinity ...will download at dial-up speeds, if you can get through to them at all. Oh yes, and it will make what Internet they allow you more expensive, too.

(And of course, if American Big Telecom companies get away with this, ISPs in other countries will have more leverage to demand the same.)

The time to remind the FCC that it serves the people, not Big Telecom, is running out.
