Why yes, I do believe I've used this before as a title... just a lil gap filler between comic pages, I fixed this up quick, which is part 1 of 2 for
Vandercat
Expect some more soon, I gotta reply to journals and such soon, but wanted to upload this while I had time
Um... gah, can't think what to add to this, but only that Vander takes some mischief in this impending peril, and a quick shoutout to Kritter to boot =B
Actually pretty happy how this turned out...
Happy thanks again t o Vander for commishing this!

Better not let that cast get wet!
...and as a couple of others have pointed out, the notion of getting caught and sinking into quicksand, though it was a heavily used trope in westerns in the 1950s, has been pretty well debunked. Mythbusters has covered it - you would sink to a point but would reach equilibrium with your head well above the surface. It might be difficult to get out of if your body is completely surrounded by mud/quicksand with nothing more solid to push off of, but the only way you'd keep sinking is if the quicksand were of a lower density than the human body; it's probably possible to create a quicksand that meets that qualification, perhaps using tiny foam pellets as a key ingredient, but realistically you're never going to find something like that occurring naturally.

She tries, but I think it's gonna need a change =B
Yes, lol, many things have died of their romanticism as they have been placed to the wayside of logic before the Mythbusters test, certainly something fun in the peril you can experience but still be safe afterward in the quicksand <3 Makes them all the more enjoyable knowing the facts here
