I always only had a squared college block with me at school. And I started to draw in it during lessons. Then one day I bought a seperate one for my Story, in DIN A4 size^^ If I planned to colour pics, I fetched white paper, drew on it with a pen, and coloured it with usual felt tip pens^^ But sketches and fast infos about my story, I always drew into a checked college block^^ And well, as I started to outline digitally, I also started to draw pics I want to colour on checked paper^-^ And some time after, the college block size changed from DIN A4 to DIN A5,, since it's more portable*-*
