"Darnit!" thought TJ as the wind died, and he watched his kite plummet towards the ground. He had wanted a nice relaxing day away from his little brother, and thought flying a kite out in the field behind his house would be fun. Sam was off on his turn for "Father/Son Saturday" and TJ was trying to take full advantage of it. Unfortunately for TJ, the wind was not doing him any favors.

TJ's luck plummeted with his kite as he saw it fall into a tree, the sting tangling slightly in its hungry branches. "Darnit" TJ said, this time aloud, not just to himself. He hobbled over towards the tree, still getting used to his legs not working as they should. TJ would have usually just climbed the tree with ease, and rescued the kite himself--unfortunately, he was no longer able to perform such a feat.

TJ looked around for someone to help, possibly one of the other kids from his neighborhood, but he saw nobody. He was almost in despair when he realized that the kite was stuck in one of the tree's lower branches. TJ chuckled to himself, and taking one of his crutches, poked and prodded the kite until it eventually came free.
