I was browsing Russian fairy tales for some unknown reason and discovered "Go I Know Not Whither and Fetch I Know Not What"
It's about a hunter who strikes down a bird, who pleads for her life. He spares it and she turns into a beautiful woman and asks him to marry her. They get married and unfortunately the King and his Steward both see the girl and want her for their own.
The King tries to slyly get rid of the hunter so he can take her but using her magic and the help of others, they finally outwit him and actually end up taking overthrowing him.(Typical Russian behavior. xD)
I shamefully adapted a design of one of my furries into the girl of the story as I am feeling as though I have been injected with pure inspiration.
Funny how that happens. xD
P.S. I think Disney should do this one for their next movie. I mean seriously. Disney team would be happy with their feminist brownies(girl asks the guy to marry her), and the kids would have an awesome animated lead character who can turn into a bird at will.
