I know there are folks out there who have more impressive collections, but this is my current obsession with color media. =D It doesn't all see use on a daily basis (like the Pelican paint set I haven't had the opportunity to try yet) but this is all the stuff I keep on hand when I'm working.

c.c; I may be slightly obsessed. Thing is? All my big sets were paid for with commissioned work. Either I had a commission large enough to buy the set (Prismas) or someone bought me the sets in trade for art (Copics).

Yup! =D As my copic-fairy has pointed out, it's a very economical way to get a LOT of art from me. I plug the value of the set into a spreadsheet and just subtract the cost of each commissioned piece from the total until it balances out.

I wouldn't call it a problem. I only own 6 markers and something like three mechanical pencils.

This has been building for awhile. I believe I got most of the Prismas in the bin about ten years ago now. Some of this is new as of this year, and some isn't. I've had a lot more people buying me stuff from my Amazon wish list in trade for art this year.

Aha, That's one way to do it. I just have stuff that I need for school, I use the markers to mark the tops of notebooks so that I know which notebook is for which class.

Yeah, I majored in studio art at my university, so I've been collecting for a long time. =)

My major is about as far from art as I can get at my school, but I keep threatening myself that I'm going to draw more. It never really happens.

Gotta practice to get better. =) The more I draw, the more I improve. Doesn't mean I'm always happy with what I turn out (I almost never am), but each piece is a little bit of progress.

I know, I am working on my attitude. Time is scarce and I have a higher class load than previous semesters. But I have been drawing a bit more than usual so that's always good.
