In a flash it was over.
He fell onto all fours, though they weren’t what should have been there. His arms had grown into massive wings, red and scaled like the rest of his body now, and supported by golden membranes. His back legs were clawed and he had sit on his haunches, due to his newly acquired large size.
From behind his body a tail snaked upward, ending in an arrowpoint, and everywhere he had sprouted claws. He opened his mouth to gasp, but the voice wasn’t his, atleast not entirely. He was deeper and primal now his fanged mouth and horn-crowned head hardly preserved any traces of his humanity.
Across his red scales, black runes skittered, just like the ones he had read shortly before this all began. Cursed or blessed with this new form, he was unsure, but in the full daylight, he knew one thing was clear, it would be a good idea not to be seen.
Taking to the air he smiled.
It felt good after all.

This is the second wyvern of the bunch, and like Masada’s this one was done through building it up through forms and more transparent layers than I usually use. I had an issue with not enough contrast, and the face needed more time than I gave it.
