I decided I liked them. I'm gonna do more of em! But first I had to lay down ground rules about anatomy and stuff in my head. So that's sorta what this is?

*clears throat*

They're very squishy and gooey! They aren't MADE of goo, they have an outer skin and then inside organs, but they're sorta drippy all over. Makes em shiny! They can adjust the output so they don't drain themselves dry just walking down the street. But touching hard surfaces can burn them without the mucus protection. And no salt at all ever!

No bones! Inside they're just a bag of organs. Standing up they're supported entirely by their strong outer skin which sorta acts like an exo-musculature. They can change their shape a lot because of this, and their arms and legs don't really have a set length.

Eyes! Those ones up top! They don't blink, and they can turn in all directions. The eyes on the head itself are just markings, but they can move and express. They don't have teeth either, instead like a hard little plate inside their mouth. Remember A Bug's Life? Like that.

Gender! They're all hermaphrodites! That's just how slugs roll, yo. But seeing as how they're a bit smarter than actual slugs, I'd think they'd choose a gender to present as and stick with it until they change their mind or something. Or they just wouldn't care.

I don't think they actually have any sexual bits that a vertebrate would recognize? I'm not too sure. Should I draw some Slook porn to figure it out? (the answer is yes but I'll probably get frustrated and give up)
