This is my character Passion Fruit holding a Black Footed Ferret. She is wearing modern rococo inspired outfit that I designed. I've owned ferrets before, and they're pretty amazing little creatures. Black Footed Ferrets are not the same as the domesticated ferret.

Black Footed Ferret Facts:

They're the most endagered mammal in North America.
They are carnivores and their diet solely consists of prarie dog.
They are endangered because agriculturists poisoned vast numbers prarie dogs since they eat grass and were in competition with cattle.
In the 1970's the species was deemed extinct.
In the 1980's a small group of 18 was discovered and taken into captivity and maintained through captive breeding.
Today they have been reintroduced in three states, but their survival is still uncertain.
