Hannah and Val are twin sisters, but with different personalities.

Hannah is a more outgoing geek, she is active in her small gaming community. She is an active gamer, both in video games and tabletops. She is also a huge comic book enthusiast and often visits conventions when she can.

Val is more quiet and reserved of the twins. She is very shy, but wants to get into geek culture. Her sister Hannah helps her with this by taking her to conventions and introducing her slowly to it.

It was during one of these convention trips they met with several of the Pokémon girls, being Natallie the Samurott, Lilac the Goodra, and Autumn the Arcanine. After learning about the "super realistic" Pokémon costumes and asking how they got them, Hannah wanted to become one herself. Val was uncertain at first until Hannah talked her into it, and even then she wanted to make sure they could tell the sisters apart.

Lilac had a good idea on how to make that happen and gave them both a big hug, causing the transforming slime to cover them and slowly change them. Both girls quickly became rather chubby and plump brelooms, Hannah being normal colored and Val a shiny version.

Since then, the two new Pokémon girls have been doing more and more conventions in their "realistic costumes", enjoying their new looks and experiencing new things.
