Species Info:

Qiloir tend to stay in small groups of no more than 20 and away from any city life if they can. While many of them stay in warm forests with a variety of ponds and streams, there have been groups that live in forests of winter wonderland and others near the ocean. While their body has a lot of feathers in various place, there are some orbs on their body that seem to glow only at night. While there are many theories as to why they glow, it has only been recently learned that the glowing is to attract any lost spirits that may be in the area so that the Qiloir can guide them to the underworld. As such, they have been called the Final Light for all lost spirits and the light that they see changes depending on the Qilor.

Of course not all of the species are good and want to help spirits. There are those who have consumed the spirits instead and use the lights from the orbs as a method of gaining their nutrients for the day. These are called Nyotim and have been exiled from the prime species . Unlike the Qiloir who stay in small species, they have formed a large colony in deserts and many of them feel resentment towards the Qiloir for exiling them.

However there is a custom that both species share and that is when it comes to mating season, both find ways of decorating themselves as much as possible in order to attract a mate. Anything that they can find that they see as beautiful, they will put on themselves. Of course beauty is in the eye of the beholder and what would seem beautiful to some is an atrocity to others.
