"Yes, I am a cute little fairy who just happens to be male. Is that a PROBLEM for you?"

In admiration of an artist called 'bewildered' this idea was sparked while looking at some of her wonderful art. As always, I just have to put my own twist on things.

I've always found the idea of fairies just being small humans with pointy ears and wings weird. It just doesn't make much sense. When you see a bird, their ears are just little holes covered by feathers. Bats and flying squirrels have their ears on the top of their heads. So it just made more sense for this guy to have his ears on top of his head instead of the sides. His ears have a lot less wind resistance. Plus, they can hear things better.
