Kurapika looks so cute with he´s new hairstyle

Do you know...I spent probably the first several volumes wondering about Kurapika's gender, because VIZ kept using the she/he interchangably and I found it frustrating. I kept thinking "he's a guy", but then VIZ would turn around and have a character refer to him as a "she" and it was annoying.

Oh really? I did not know that! That's pretty interesting and I can see why as his design is pretty in the middle ... But neat!
And yes.... One of my favs

Yeah...since I was reading the manga knowing nothing at all about the series, it was confusing at first. Then a Japanese pen-pal told me Kurapika was a guy...so! *lol* It's not surprising though...before yaoi became popular in the U.S., TokyoPop translated CLAMP's "Clover" making the angel a female (but was supposed to be genderless, or assumed male) because of the romance with the main male character. American companies can be weird when translating manga! *laughs*
