Well, I like old things, beat up things that need fixing. I like robots and animatronics... so I added a character to the little gang of robots I draw from time to time. Puzzle here is part of the crew of the kid show Happy Happy Island, but more of the 5 or 6th generation of characters. He was the character who was presenting puzzles and activities to kids, hence his name.
His actual look is because long after the show was cancelled and he has been forgoten in a basement of the studios, he was accidentally reactivated by a bolt of electricity. Looks like some vermine chewed on his synthetic fur and his right arm is missing a screw or two. Not to mention that eerie eye of his, the cover lense has fallen inside his head.

He's an AI because the robots often met the kids in different events and they couldn't let machines with limited cognition to deal with children. But when recording the episodes, the robots were somewhat "wried" as their movements and lines were pre-programmed. Unless an incident with the robots or the set, each episode was recorded in a single shot.
