Well after a bit of surprising fun with Kally possible future daughter and silly romantic hang up in that humor. I found out about Franklin, A childhood friend of Cydell's (Kallys possible future daughter)

that has a massive crush and hasn't been able to tell her. Well, after watching several Mecha anime (mostly to stay awake) I figured all Teens around this time can enlist with the EDF to become Mecha pilots, and what better way to compete against a Skeleton Key than being a Mecha pilot (which gives it all the thrill) of the planet earth (more importantly, the earth there on, he won't vanish to another world!)
