I MADE A new species today called Mantazahr (or Manta for short).
They are based off of Manticores which are really rad and I wanted to make something cute SO YEH...

I made a few for my friends and I will probably make some for adopt later on this month, in between commissions so I don't get bogged down.

SO A LITTLE INFO ABOUT THEM, that I have so far...

Mantazahr (Manta for short):
• Their main weapon are their tails which contain venom. Each one has a unique venom, but unless they exert a decent amount, it can be cured with regular remedies. Otherwise a large dose of the venom can be lethal unless cured using part of the venom to create an antidote.
• Some venoms are similar enough that a different manta can use their venoms to make a remedy, but the effects are much slower and the person will stay sick longer.
• There are two types of venom: Paralysis or Lethal. Paralysis will just paralyze an opponent, for how long varies depending on the amount injected. Lethal is regular venom which makes people sick and can have different effects like nausea, certain allergic reactions, or death.
• Their tails curl up and tuck into their fluffy tail thing in neutral mode, when angered, threatened, or surprised their scorpion tails will pop out. Some like to keep their tails out at all times to either ward off people or assert their dominance.
• Shoulder fluff is optional, and some shave them off. Some also shave off their fluff tails to look more dangerous and threatening.
• They have 2 barbs on each limb, along the forearm and on the back of the calf. They also have a few barbs on the tail, but the amount varies for each.
• Wings are VERY rare, but those that do have wings are considered the elite or ‘high class’ among mantas. They tend to be stronger and their venom more lethal than normal.
• Their horns can come in different shapes and sizes and have no meaning hierarchy-wise.
• Most mantas are resistant to each other’s venom unless a large amount is injected. An exception are the winged ones, which can poison the weaker mantas easily.
