Big the Cat, crouching and staring into people's souls. That is a seriously intense stare, and it's not even directed towards the viewer! XD
That stare can mean one of two things; something has piqued his interest, or he is about to go "rotary cannonball" on a wall/enemy/stuff.
In all seriousness, the pose and expression is reminiscent of a feline predator, ready to strike its target; give the fact that sir Big is indeed a cat, it makes sense, and I find that to be very nice!
This here is a very nice crouch pose; given sir Big's body type, it is a very fitting one, and a nice breath of fresh air from all the others ( since they all tend to curl up their limbs, rather than actually crouching like sir Big here.)
