I had this idea that I was going to do one of those commission sheet things, showing different tiers in the same piece. "Simple," I thought. "Nothing that involves too much brainpower, but maybe not super generic." So I start doodling this grinning hyena guy.

Three hours later, my buddy Red and I have devised an entire life story for a tragic, obnoxious manchild with a heart of gold and a bottomless beer belly.

So here's Malcolm. He's annoying until you get to know him, and then he's still annoying, but likeable.
