Gift for Rawriosu@DeviantART of his character, Rathios.
I wanted to challenge myself to draw something different from what i usually draw, considering i rarely stray away from canines (Nakk doesn't count). I've drawn Rathios before, but he looked cartoonish and .... square...... oddly square, i can't even bear to look at that, it looks terrible lol. So i figured, a few months back i went from my huge-eyed silly style to a more realistic looking one. Since then, i don't think i've drawn anything else other than dogs. I also recall attempting to draw Rathios (without deforming him with my weird style) once or twice before with little success, so i figured i'd give it another try, this time, trying to stay closer to his design :>. Granted it's not perfect, and his head/muzzle is still bulky, it looks far better than the last one haha.
And forgive the super huge flying dandelion puff thingies x.o .. There was a bird there, but it came out so horrible that i scrapped that idea. Never realized i made these things so huge, but if i was to make them smaller, they would look bad..
