So I finally did it, I made a real life horse sized horse collar (more precisely a Draft horse sized collar, my friend's Percheron is modeling it for me in these photos). My friend didn't have any really spectacular 4th of July parade gear so I set out to fix that. This is the result. It is made entirely of size 6 seed beads and wire with a fabric backing piece. The central piece is made of a mix of brass size 6 seed beads and glass size 6 seed beads. I had to figure out how to make a decent looking Texas flag out of seed beads, which required getting out Excel to figure it out. For anyone who doesn't know, Excel is wonderful for working out bead patterns.

And before any of you get to snarling, yes, those at Confederate flags right next to the central piece. I live in Texas, it is appropriate.
