Heh, here it is, one of the most dreaded German Tanks of WW2. Armed with 8,8 cm KwK 36 L/56 cannon he could penetrate 14 cm plating on 1 km. His Armour Plating was 80 mm thick, but because the plates were not angular enough. And the engine was also very weak for the Tank. But, through the propaganda it became the most known Tank of the germans

Lawl. I suppose you know, but the Tigers were the last tanks to be built in WW2, and thus they were produced mainly for homeland defence. Who needs big engines when you're going to lay waiting in ambushes most of the time?
I don't think the theory Germany would have won if only they'd have more tigers holds any water either. I mean, okay, for that time the Tiger 88 Mark 2's were awesome tanks, but as you noted, the engine was bad. Very bad. Too small to carry that big a tank all the way back to France.
But yeah...Michael Wittman mastered the Tiger 88. He took out 2 regiments of Shermans with only his group of 4 tigers. That's like...120 tanks against 4. :S That dude knew how to work that cannon.
