His face is covered because it was scared badly in battle. He keeps and covered and doesn't talk while it's healing. Because of his powers it will make a full heal (with no scars) as long as he doesn't aggravate the wound.

In the meantime his weapons ( mic in pole staff form ,and large gun) do the talking when his sons aren't present. His sons try to keep it from him having to be violence while he's injured. Tumer's usually violence anyway ,but when he;s injured like this he's actually more pleasant ,until he just gets flat out pissed off which can happen fast depending on what's going on. He can take personal insult ,but insult his god-family or his sons ,and you end up quick-dead.
