Here's the memorial of the Ferme de Richemont. The 14th July 1944, near of Saucats, in the departement of the Gironde, at the Ferme de Richemont, the Wehrmacht sent 60 mens of the Gestapo and 50 french militiamen for attack the farm where are stationed 12 french resistant and 2 tirailleurs. The Lieutenant François Mossé, a vet from the Vercors and the leader of the little group were the first death of the battle, when he heard the song of the guns, he got up and asked: "What happens?" before to be touch by a bullet in the chest.
After a long fight where the hundred of axis soldiers had fought the dozen of french resistant, the Germans, for exterminate the little group which haven't a lot of dead, had decided to use a canon of 105mm. After the destruction of the farm, the youngs resistants were surrounded but they were basely executed by the french militiamen. Philippe Béguerie and the two Tirailleurs were the only french resistant to survive of this battle.
