Sketched this sometime back in the first half of 2014. It's just a sketch highlighting the three main groups of ungulates: perissodactyls (represented by the rhino), artiodactyls (represented by the deer), and cetaceans (represented by the dolphin). The last one is a bit redundant, because cetaceans ARE artiodactyls, but they are so different from the rest of the artiodactyls that I treated them as a separate group here.
The three species pictured here are Ceratotherium simum (white rhino), Odocoileus virginianus (white-tailed deer), and Tursiops truncatus (bottlenosed dolphin).
