You see a simple river; Plain as can be.
I see a portal; A wonder as to what could be.
Do you ever ponder; Your mind drifting out to sea.


I stared for a long while, lost in thought the wheels churning. What if this had been in a time where bridges didn't exist. What if I saw someone on the other side? Would we shout across? Or stare in silence as the day went by. What if this was a love story? two people in love but never in their known destinies would they meet.

I decided to stare for awhile longer, for awhile I didn't feel alone. A figment of my imagination, I saw a form of the one I longed to see. It was strange, yet comforting. to this wild imagination of mine. A portal of mine.
