It's rather hard to try understanding Buzz, or where he even belongs in his team, let alone in the Academy!
A sophomore, making him the strategically weakest member of Team S, Buzz only exists as a form of annoyance, and stat support to be exploited by his fellow teammates.

From a childhood as a Nincada, Buzz always loved ninjas, movies, comics, toys, he followed them loyally onward, training himself in the 'way of the ninja', which mostly involved him pretending no-one could see him, or throwing sucker-cupped shuriken at targets.

Evolution brought with it a range of possibilities and strange new paths for Buzz, who excelled himself into stealth and speed naturally given to his species, not to mention he even found his old shell handy as a Substitution jutsu!

It's hard to say why Team S condone his presence, as barely any mon can hang around to listen to a nindo obsessed ninjask with a suspicious lisp?

"Ooooooooh... Univerzzzzzze hate Buzzzzz!!!! Univerzzzzzze can kizzzzzzzz Buzzzzz-boy butt with big juizzzy lipzzzzzz!"

Now, couple that with an obnoxious yell, a persistent ever-buzzing of wings, and you can imagine that Buzz doesn't make new friends that easy: he clings on to what he has with Team S, a group of people who tolerate him if only for his somewhat talents in battle.

Existing only to deploy his own speed, confusion and ability boosting attacks to hold off the enemy long enough to tag in his teammates, Buzz is often seen either being splattered into the ground, or obnoxiously yelling from behind one of his larger teammates.

But when push comes to shove, he keeps coming back for more, and more, and more... can you really fault the boy?

One thing of special note... if you're a Vulpix or a Ninetales, do make sure you hide when he's around!

"Kyuuuubi!"

He may get knocked down - a lot - but he always gets back up, and perhaps this is what pushes him to excel, eager to impress the so mentioned 'Kyuubi...'
