This is my NPC design for this new RPG that is being developed. It is called Witanlore: Dreamtime by Druid Gameworks. I still haven't pitched my concept art to them, so I'm hoping my character would get accepted!

Whoa... very nice! I like seeing him in the different clothing styles, though honestly... he looks the most imposing when almost nude, probably because you see the shear thickness of the guy. While I always love those big, awesome footpaws of his, I have to say that is an amazing job on his hand too - there's SO much detail in how you've done the palm and pad-like surface.
Oh, hey, I did a blog write-up of this project :) http://www.furstarter.com/da-bears/
This brings me back to this old image

I really like your Bear arts! They look great.
Oh and by the way: did you know the background about his name? Bruno is old Germanic and means "the brown one" = they meant the "bear". The word "bear" was not allowed to be spoken. For the Germanic people this animal was holy.
Souce: "Roots of Names" (Wurzeln der Namen) 1980 .. so far I could read this old book. (it was damaged)
What I wanted to say is: who ever choose this name for it. He did his homeworks.

Back when I first created this character three years ago, I didn't know the meaning of the name. I just thought it was really fitting for a bear, so I called him Bruno. Then later on I looked into the history of the name and I thought to myself... "Huh... Now that is very convenient!"
