I enjoy giving/getting hugs to people in fursuits just because it's completely non-judging for a lot of people. It's also a good ice breaker. Some people at the photoshoot at Otakon (not giving specifics) were really nervous being around new people and so I essentially was trying to take a giant hammer and break the ice for some. Plus who doesn't like getting a hug? Seriously.

To me suiting means going out and making people happy. That is exactly what you're doing here and it makes me so happy

That is honestly my favorite part of suiting. My parents got to witness what joy I could bring to people of all ages this past weekend and changed their opinion completely on suits and making suits even. I love that I can bring a character to life too and make the owner happy too. Its those two things that are on the top best feeling things in the world I think.

I agree. I know all the rumors and I know some people get sour towards suits... But I really just love it to make people happy. It means so much to me to be able to possibly brighten someone's day just by acting like a lil critter. I hope someday I'll be really good at it.

^^ im still working on acting in suit as well. I am glad it is slowly becoming accepted. I came from an area that it was frowned heavily upon so I had slowely started teaching people of fursuits and furries

I didn't get enough -- well, hardly any -- fursuit hugs at Anthrocon. I was so busy it seemed to be over before I knew it. I'd love to get randomly glomped by fursuiters, it would really brighten my day. Sometimes I get so caught up in what I have to do I forget I'm furry.

daw I woulda given ya a hug if I saw ya. I was only out at night though, so I had limited time to find people. Maybe next year ;v;
