I took this on December 31st, 2003, New Years Eve at Disney World. In person it was breathtaking, and while I think the picture came out rather beautiful, it still fails to capture how amazing the globe looked in person.

You don't live close to Disney, do you? After about the 20th time I've seen it, it seemed passe.
But they do offer a special experiance at the globe. If you have enough money, they will let you climb to the top of the globe and look out over the park. I have never done it, but I hear that it is really cool.
But that is a cool picture. You captured the globe quite well.

Nope. I actually live in the metro-Atlanta area.
The shot itself probably is a bit cliche, but the image evokes a lot in me from the trip itself. Where it was our final family vacation, it has a lot of fond memories. My younger siblings and I have all flown the nest, so family vacations don't really happen anymore.
