Number 33 of my theme list, Pregnancy :)
Chao IS NOT officially pregnant in my story line, but this is more or less an idea I'm playing with in my head, along with fulfilling another number of my theme list XD
So here we have a round-preggy-tummy Chao, somewhat embarrassed by the new form she has, though Cole seems to be more excited than anything about her lil belly, nuzzling the new member of the family.
Cole has always pondered about being the father of a cub someday, as he loves children and always found pregnant females of any species to be the most beautiful living things on the planet. Now that Chao and him can finally have that wish, he's already thinking of hundreds of names for the new cub, whether male or female. ^^
I've already decided something interesting about this sketch. The day that I, the artist, become pregnant, I will upload this sketch in full bright color ;) Not saying this will happen anytime soon, but more or less a promise to my husband the day we decide to have children someday.

Now this I like. This I indeed truly enjoy.
As it's a pregnancy picture that doesn't have some weird fetish stemming from it.
(It's Fur Affinity. Like it never happens...)
But getting back on topic as I WILL go off on a tangent, I like this as you have that... smile of pride combined with embarrassment there. Which I find nearly impossible to pull off. I mean...it's that feeling of having a baby and that feeling that.. well.. I don't think I can put it into words. (I am MALE after all.)
Though, I like Cole's facial expression there. He looks nurturing and humbled there (In comparison to a specific other picture I'm certain I've seen of him.) That right there is an absolutely beautiful facial expression that I do believe most human being need to see more of-
That's the face of a father. I can respect that.
This...for content alone could easily win my praise, but you've also drawn it in such a masterful way that I can't help
BUT place it upon my favorites.

I'm glad to see you enjoyed the expressions and emotions I portrayed in this piece :3 I suppose the thoughts going through Chao's mind are:
"Oh dear, this tummy...I wonder how weird I look with this roundness."
"Heh, here I am... and holding MY cub inside me...that is truly part of me...and Cole."
"I hope Cole still thinks I'm cute... This whole round belly thing and waddling is embarrassing =><=."
But yes, Cole has always been fond of children, and longs for having a cub with Chao someday. Alas, this is only an idea I'm playing aroun with in my head, not for real in the story...yet.
