First introduced in my upcoming book. The Pegasus-Class is a dated but reliable model, commonly seen in the services of outer colony hospitals and Civil Defense Forces. Often outfitted with extra armor and two heavy-caliber machine guns, as well as space for up to fourteen passengers and three crew.
Like most transports, the Pegasus-class is a VTOL-capable (Vertical Takeoff and Landing) aircraft, meaning there is no need for expansive runways. Their four engines can be rotated up or down, and their wings have a pair of built-in turbines for extra propulsion capability. This allows them to hover and maneuver into tight spaces, making them excellent when used as patrol units and drop-ships.
In military situations, the Pegasus is normally be used for patrolling, fast deployment of personnel, and aerial surveillance.
