Eeh. I'm trying to expand my portfolio/polish my skills/not be completely bored. I need to find a way to sell crap like this, I just don't know how.

And if I may? perhaps I have a few ideas for you to sell your work?
See i'm attempting to do the same thing..although my works are far different [and perhaps harder to sell :( ]
Make yourself an art site. Something simple to start, with a simple gallery. A portfolio gallery. There you can show off your works, and put up prints for sale,
Go to as many places as you can online and see if you can do link exchanges, and perhaps leave your link.
[I'll be more than happy to put a link to a site you make on my site. ]
Make business cards and pass them out.
If money is not a viable option for you, then it does get a little harder as you gotta useally spend money to make it ;)
However, that being said, upload your art anywhere you can that's an art gallery. Pimp out your talents, and commission prices.
Even small galleries get looked at.
Since you have a lovely talent that goes into mainstream, seek out Art forums [not just furry places]
Join them put a link in your siggie line/profile. anything you can do to get your name out there.
Just a few lil suggestions hun. Hopefully they can help.

One of my big problems is the total lack of confidence and the fact I'm not an outgoing person at all.
Thank you for the advice. I'll definitely have to try to do that. Being a starving artist is quite a drag but we all have to start somewhere. You're much more of a furry artist..Finding that audience offline is so tough, so I've basically given up on that. Good luck to you too though!

oh hun i'm not a furry artist at all. I do abstract. [Which is why i mean that my art might be hard to sell] Digital abstract at that ;)
But you have some lovely things...Maybe once i get my art site up and running [which i'm currently working on] if you'd like i'll feature some of your work. to help get it out there. :)

oh i Want to. Very much so hun. But my drawing skills is Very low. I need a lot of practice. It's getting there, but slowly as I don't draw as much as i'd like to.
When it comes to drawing animals to humans, or Anthro to humans..i prefer anthros..i just need to do a lot of practice.

JTigerclaw has a lot of art books on how to draw...I just gotta start reading and learning from them ^_^
