Found throughout the forests of Vietnam, Tibet, and China, the Temminck’s Tragopan is a pheasant that is sexually dimorphic. The male sports a dark-blue lappet that he can ‘buff up’ during courtship displays. They are named after the Dutch naturalist, Coenraad Jacob Temminck.
