I want to say you recorded yourself playing the drums at 1:36, just as a hunch. :P Didn't have any synthed drums that could pull off the snare work?
This song has things going for it, but I also really think you hesitated in the composition. It also made me realize you've live recorded a lot of the piano work you got in your FA submissions. I kinda thought so for the beginning piano in 'Corrosion', but wasn't entirely sure. Which is all leading up to the point where I think the cut at 3:11 was too abrupt and truncated. It was like, 'Okay, bam! Done, totally didn't see that coming did you?'
The piano afterwards is lovely, and I really mean that, but I can hear some distortion from (I'm guessing) your compy polluting the input with system noise, or maybe a cable or mic just starting to go bad. As much as it sounds like I'm nitpicking, I also totally reset the song to 3:20ish five times in a row to hear the piano again. I want to say you either have a really, really good keyboard or some very good mics, but I'm listening too an MP3 through a set of rather crappy speakers, so hard to say so definitively. However you got that piano to sound like that, I <3's it. Do it more often!
