Author's note: All of Fontis Castle's bedrooms come with plush furniture, including luxury beds. Bats aren't a common species in Fontis, but the castle easily accommodated Nyxis by adding a high perch to the bedposts. Nyxis sometimes does sleep on the mattress too. To her, hanging upside-down is just another sleeping position.
