As one of my fiends on dA would know Rigel is not completely organic. Being from the future he has many cybernetic implants that give him abilities beyond that of a normal organic.

Semi-AI Assisted Brain: In Rigel's brain is a small computer AI. The AI is fully integrated with his major brain functions allowing him to think faster, multitask, and store more memory than a normal brain. The AI however is intentionality made to be low powered. Rigel maintains complete control of all his actions and thoughts, the AI only assists with that.

Cybernetic Eyes: These eyes allow Rigel to see past the visible spectrum of light and see inferred and ultraviolet light. They also have a passive scanning feature allowing him to focus on multiple objects at the same time.

Nano Immunity Control Node: In Rigel's neck is a small implant that controls the tiny nanoids that patrol his bloodstream. The nanoids assist his white blood cells in destroying any foreign pathogens that invades his body, including viruses. They also have the ability to repair any part of the body in a few minutes.

Synthetic Bone Marrow: In some of Rigel's bone is a synthetic material that replicates blood cells at an accelerated rate. It is also where the nanoids are created.

Liver Scrubber: The liver scrubber processes any matter that is stored there. It also can break down any known poison meaning he would have a very high tolerance for alcohol, if he drank alcohol that is.

Intestinal Extractor: The intestinal extractor increases the amount of nutrients he extracts from his food.

Gastric Hydrocarbon Power Generator: Attached to his stomach, the gastric hydrocarbon generator converts organic matter into electrical energy to power his other implants. The implant also assists with digestion allowing Rigel to digest foods he normally couldn't. This also means that Rigel has to eat more often and more starchy foods (like eggplant) to keep his energy up.

Oxygen Extractor: The oxygen extractor increases the efficacy of his lungs, extracting more oxygen out of the air per breath. This means he can run faster, farther, and hold his breath longer than a normal person.

Heart Stimulator: This implant keeps track of Rigel's heart health and if necessary can act as an internal defibrillator in emergencies.

Computer Interface Cord: This extendable cord allows him to interface with his computer to make routine maintenance checks of his implants and systems.

Chronoton/Tachyon Inhibitors: These maintain the flow of chronotons and tachyons, produced by the two sacks in his shoulders that allow Rigel to control time. With out these inhibitors the particles would fly out in all directions and be totally useless. These also control any flair ups that Rigel come times has that causes a larger than normal production of chronoton particles which could cause damage to the time stream.
