Depression is a war I have been waging for over six years now... At times I was winning. At times I was losing. How I have managed to survive so long, I have come to realize was because my problems are absolutely nothing. What I went through, I realized do not matter in the end. And if they did, they don't anymore.
So now my goal... is to help as many as I can deal with their depression... I can only hope that I don't fail others as much as I failed myself. I fear it's too late for me. But for others I refuse to think as such... and thus I am here...
I have trouble actually posting this because... I am, to admit, socially retarded. All because of my mental and emotional state... I hope you can understand...

I understand, what really helps me in times like this are thinking of what responsibility's you have to yourself and others around, for example i'm a father. I couldn't knowingly leave this world knowing my kid would never know their father if I did.

Indeed... I, however, have nothing for my future as of now... but MY responsibility... is to fill that void with something to strive to. And that is the end of my depression. Simply put.
I refuse to die unhappy.

Don't feel too low, brother. No one's as happy or sad as they think they are, the trick is to stay engaged with your life. Even in the bleakest of times, life is sacred and beautiful.
