the eye things have hinges to open up I guess? and there is a beak-flap on top of the beak.

hoppingbirds who fight a lot probably risk having their beak broken since it'd be a lot of metal to cover it and a good smack might still crack it underneath anyway so hoppingbirds get battlebeak where you're missing half your face

those things on the lowest legs are like. bars? ? ? to not break legs?? it would probably weigh just as much to encase it in metal anyway oh well
