Should have a chat with them to clear that CSI nonsense out. Not sure if they know you are furry or not though. I wouldn't say it's as bad as coming out gay or atheist, but prepare for social suicide. However, I've never heard of parents flipping out over their kid being a furry...
My Mom saw on Facebook once that I had planned to go to 
Misora's art Jam in Moore, OK and confronted me about it (this was before they saw the CSI episode) and she just asked if I planned on going. I told her no, I wasn't going to go (at the time, I didn't have the money to go anyway) and that made her happy.
This was why I decided to make a separate furry Facebook account.

Hmm, at least she wasn't confrontational about it and just let it go. The only people that know my furriness are other curries and my roommates, but they are curries too. My son and brother know, but they don't really care. I don't plan on telling anyone else and if they find out, I'll educate them on what a furry is and it'll be up to them on how they plan to deal with it.
I was talking to one of my roommates yesterday about making a facebook for my furry...I guess I should do it. Might make some more fur friends. ;)
