Car rides can be difficult and uncomfortable for toddlers, especially when they're in the potty training stages. Skye had a fun day at the park, but he had a lot to drink considering it's summer, it hit him later while in the car, even though he went potty before!
I have trouble drawing inanimate objects, but I put a lot of effort into this one. I think I was at least able portray his discomfort well.
In case it can't be read heres' the text:
Skye: Mommy!
Skye's mom: Yes, dear?
Skye: I gotta go potty!
Skye's mom: We're almost home dear. Can you hold it?
Skye: Nngghn...
Looks like he can't hold it, as it's already starting to leak through his pull-ups. Seems he didn't even realize how badly he needed to go until it was too late. But he's gonna try and be a good boy and hold it in as best he can.
(Sorry for the inactivity as of late - I didn't leave, just very, very sick)

You definitely did well in portraying that agonizing feeling of having to go but having no real way to do it. Well at least in a way that doesn't end up in your pants anyway. :)
Skye's appearance certainly tells the tale very well. Your remarks that tell more of the story speak additional volumes of the trouble in which one would have if their bladder were unable to hold out even though they are really trying to not let out what is screaming to get out.
I'd imagine Skye would get home having unknowingly relocated his pee to his pull up. He'd still be sore and would still run for the potty due to his pure determination but would be confused when nothing would come out upon reaching the toilet.
Fortunately I believe Skye's mom would understand. Especially given how truly hard he tried to not let what happened happen. You've got to admire that degree of determination.
Thanks also for writing out the conversation. I was able to see 95% of it but strained to do so. The text made it super easy. But I had to try. :)
Thanks for calling my attention to this work. I feel awful having missed it. If you ever wonder why I may not have checked out a work of yours send me a note. Sometimes my eye can't make out things and I pass over it. Especially now that it seems FA has done away with the picture title and the artist in the Submissions folder. :(
