Hehe, to each their own. I got rid of my previous laptop (Acer 5755G) in favor of the chromebook as i had just finised building a desktop and no longer needed the power in the laptop. (Also my back wasn't too happy carrying that laptop (with High capacity battery and aftermarket 120W Charger (the 90W that it came w/ burned out...)) I get along quite well with chromeOS and ubuntu. I can even play TF2 (though not well) on it.
