Since in most D&D settings i tend to consider alignment simply a different perception of ones desires and methods rather than some direct line of good and evil. Here you have the brilliant Mercury dragon Iskariys representing the light perception and Aubryana the Shadow dragon representing the darker perception.
Come to pass there were some interesting plot twists possible for this setting but things are on hold right now.
Aubryana belongs to
Luciina
Iskariys is mine.
This piece was masterfully crafted by
Leilryu who as usual succeeded in amazing me!

Alignment is so often a misconstrued and misunderstood aspect of the game. Good and Evil people have little trouble with, barring some grey areas; it's the Lawful/Chaotic slider that causes issues, largely because of misunderstandings and taking to extreme. While a crazy person is bound to be Chaotic (as clear thought is more or less needed for the orderly nature of Lawful), being of Chaotic alignment doesn't mean you're crazy and random. Then there's the classic Lawful Stupid, which is the other extreme.
It's one of the main things I didn't like about D&D. It wasn't worded all that well and a lot of people seem to completely miss the philosophical meaning of the terms for alignment and focus on the words used.
