Humming and smiling, my tail flutters in the wind in tandem with my airplane décor tennis shoes clicking every second as my hands hover in front of me, glowing red a few centimeters above the floor of my bedroom. “I wonder if Utsu-neechan will like this when I’m done? Heehee, well the only thing that can tell that is when I’m finished.” Sitting up with a crinkle, my legs fold into a ‘v’, a pedestal of the grey hovering in front of me. Red light swims around my body as my hands strum the air around the grey material, allowing a multitude of shapes to coalesce before my eyes.
Giggling, I watch as the greys bleed into white while smoke inches around it, “Almost done, just a few more changes and it will be finished!” Soon, the smoke trades itself for darkness, red and blue lightning shadowing throughout this cloud as material collides with my thoughts, “Hmmm….Hmmm…Hmmmm, let us see where I shall take you, let us see where you shall go. Oh I wonder, oh I wonder, what she’ll think when you have grown?” The words free of my mind’s eye, my vision graces me with my prize hovering mere centimeters off the ground. “Perfect!”
Utsukushi’s chuckling reaches my ears as I sit back and examine what I’ve accomplished, “What’s perfect, Caiden-kun?” My ears flicker as her aura and voice float toward me, her body a meter away. “What has my baby brother been doing back here?” She inches through the doorway. “You didn’t come into the Main Hall as normal after your nap so I became worried. Is something wrong, Caiden-kun?”
Smiling wide, I rise to my feet and waddle over to her, a veil of darkness shrouding the workspace as my presence becomes lost, “Utsu-neechan, I made something for you.”
“Really?” She tilts her head and smiles, “What has my little Caiden-kun made for me today?”
“You shall see.” Backpedaling toward the veil, happiness crosses my visage as the shadows flee and reveal the sculpting of Utsukushi and I sitting down, a field of golden flowers surrounding us. Myself holding the Seven Sanguine Flower out to her while her hand extends to take the gift. Sensing her reactions is something I’ve always been able to do. However, this time, I’m not reading anything, save the solemn gaze written on her face. “I wonder what her verdict is? I really hopes she likes it. Maybe…maybe I should have thought of something else.”
Tilting my head, I scan the sculpting, it’s intricate detailing of our clothing, the fields, ourselves, our postures, and the flower. Turning to Utsukushi, I giggle as the sculpting hovers two meters above me, “Utsu-neechan, um…where do you want me to put it?”
Her warm smile burrows into my soul, warmth travelling throughout my body as her arms wrap around me and lift me into the air, a meter away from the sculpting as she spins twice, holding me close as tears pelt my T-shirt, “Oh, Caiden-kun, it’s…it’s so beautiful! You’re quite an artist, little one.” Tears continue to fall as I bare witness to her joy while resting on her shoulder and snugging into the crook of her neck, “Caiden-kun, how did you do this? I didn’t know you could sculpt like this.”
“That’s the beauty of Zentalis power, Utsu-neechan. I can’t sculpt at all, I merely used my Zentalis energy and my mind, the energy of my Auric Shield did the rest, taking what I thought in my mind and bringing it to life with what my hands couldn’t fashion or understand. I’m not an artist by any means, Utsu-neechan.” Purring, my arms and legs coil about her neck and waist, “I am glad I made you happy though.”
“That you did, Caiden-kun.” She chuckles as she walks down the hallway, the sculpting following her toward the Main Hall, “You did wonderfully and everyone who comes in my mansion shall see it.” Utsukushi’s chuckling echoes while I’m carried down the halls and her warm touch caresses my back, “I’ve got the best baby brother ever. So,” She sets me on my feet within my playroom and kneels down to me, “what does my little brother want to do now?”
“Hmmm….” Scanning the playroom, I turn and face her, emerald pools penetrating her soul and mind searching for her desire, yet finding nothing, “She’s truly happy. She has no desire of her own to pass down as of now. She just wants to see my happiness in return for me making her day. I just don’t know what I want to do.” While my mind churns, I waddle toward her and wrap my arms around her neck, “I love you, Utsukushi!”
Warmth and love persists through my veins as I’m lifted into her hold and my legs trap her waist again. She ruffles my hair and pats my back as her hold solidifies, “I love you too, Caiden-kun. You’ve made my day, little one!”
