Well here is a basic profile with my basic ideas of the Slar'iris race. Was thinking of uploading this with a picture of them, but there isn't one and I am taking a break from paying commissions, that and a bit tight with money due to the move in two weeks. Anyway, hope you guys are interesting in the Slar'iris:

Species name: Slar’iris


Home World: Zurisia


Description: The Slar’iris resemble the Basilisk Lizards of Earth. Green being a very common among their species, their scales can range from a number of colours. The Slar’iris don’t have any mammal traits to them, with females being identified by shorter crests and four stripes on their back. Males have slightly larger crests and only have two stripes. Standing at 4 to five feet at the most, the Slar’iris have a lithe build to them, relaying on speed, but still have the strength similar to that of an average human.


Culture and history: Being a race that can shift genders, they have equal rights for their entire species and have a unified government. Their culture has a lot of traditions that they practice a lot. One tradition is that they only mate with those of their species, or at least a species that has scales. They are not racists and do treat other species as equals, just they don’t get in any relationship with them, only preferring to be friends or allies.

Clothing is loose fitting to go with the swamp like world they come from. Examples will be given at some point

More of their culture and traditions have yet to be revealed.

Technology: The Slar’iris have technology on the same level as the other races, but with weaponry, they prefer to use shock weapons, weapons that are design to paralyse and not kill an opponent, despite this they do have lethal forms of weaponry they use as a very last resort.
